Despite our best efforts at oral hygiene, tooth loss can still happen, especially in cases of dental trauma. Dental implants are a permanent solution to tooth loss that can help you regain the smile you remember, with porcelain fixtures that look and function just like your natural teeth.
Implant Placement
After an initial consultation, we surgically place the implant post (synthetic “roots” of your new tooth) directly into your jawbone. A temporary cap will protect your gums as they heal. Over three to six months, the post will gradually fuse with the bone so that it remains secure. We use local anesthetic for placement, or we offer options for sedation.
Final Restoration
Once you have healed from the initial placement procedure, we complete the restoration by placing your new implant. We remove the temporary cap and attach your dental implant to the installed post. You’ll love how full and natural your smile looks!

Because dental implants function comparably to natural teeth, they require the same level of care. Regular dental cleanings, brushing, and flossing are key to ensure that your dental implant remains clean, free of infection, and long-lasting.
